Resurrection

Onidragon and I might be bringing y back with continuing the blog on a seperate blogging engine, known as Tumblr. With this resurrection this blog here on Google's Blogger engine, we may implement Tumblr into this blog. However, when you may get Tumblr posts here, your blogger RSS feed WILL NOT update. There will be a new RSS feed for you to leech off of, so when I finally reach the admin of this blog (AHEM onidragon…?), we'll see what happens!

I'm Blocked.

This is for people from WHS.

It apppers that on the new macbooks that WHS is getting, this blog is blocked.

What have I done wrong? I think the only "Bad" post I ever did was the one about Gaia a while back...

Is it because this is a blog? Is it!?

Whatever.

I don't care.

This blog will most likely rot now, as collin is using the new macbook and thus cannot get to the blog and cannot update. Sigh, well, it was good while it lasted, I guess.

Peach is a total spazz!

If you want to see the swap I loved most, the 3rd video shows Peach with Sonic's moveset. She looks like a cast member from the Adams Family.

MY GAMER CARD!!!

This is my GamerCard. This updates with anything related to my Xbox360 game time.

It includes the last 5 games I've played (Working on Halo 3 and Assassin's Creed at the moment), as well as Gamer score and how much Points I've gotten from a Game.

Oh, Here's Collin's too. He Does not own a 360 however, so untill that day comes, it's stuck on Halo 3.

Onidragon ownage

You know, I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging (I totally am), but I make tons of glorifying kills in first-person shooters. Along with that, I would like to show you some death scenes I've experienced in some of my playtime with onidragon on Halo 3.
I'm always the Elite, by the way, usually blue and white.

I was splattered (not by onidragon this time)

onidragon catches me from the side

And onidragon and I duke it out on Snowbound.

Another great picture is of somebody shooting a sniper bullet through their face (wouldn't be as funny if I said helmet). I just can't seem to stop being amused by this picture.

Glitch, much?

Naughty naughty!

Two stories today, one that probably everybody knows, and another that is just too deliciously good not to share.

HD DVD is DEAD. Toshiba has officially called off the production of all future HD DVD players and HD DVDs, assuming that their decision was influenced by major chains like Best Buy and Blockbuster had halted all HD DVD sales altogether.
Look at Peter Moore's jubilant expression!

Does this mean the end to the HD DVD drive extension for XBOX 360 consoles?
"It's something we will examine from now, and there's nothing to announce at the moment."

In other news, somebody had apparently found a republican's Facebook profile, showing him doing drugs and alcohol. Soon after being discovered, Facebook had a system maintenance, when the profile was effectively removed. They claim it was just and only a system maintenance and nothing more.

Sources are NPR and kotaku.com

What Does HD DVD Death Mean For Xbox 360 Player?

Note: I am currently looking for the comment on the Facebook profile. I heard it this morning, but I can't seem to find the story on their website…

Some Quick Myth de-bunks

There are two stories floating around the net regarding Target and Wal-Mart. They are both false.

The first, regarding Target, Is that they were pulling Mass Effect from shelves due to The Fox News Stories that it's interactive porn. Target has made a statement saying that they will still stock Mass Effect, so that's one myth down.

The Wal Mart one said that M games would be kept in black Shrouds, similar to the blank leather cases that Atari Porn games came in. A wal- mart exec told popular site GamePolitics however, that this is a rumor.

And now you know,

AND KNOWING IS HALF TEH BATTLE!!!

Touch More with Less Money?

Although it's just a rumor, a website has recieved a "tip" that there could possibly be a price drop within the next 60 days. Also anticipating that while they drop all the touchscreen products by $100, they think that both the 8GB iPhone and iPod touch will be dropped from the line.

Agreeing with the last statement that the site mentioned, releaseing these updates so soon after Christmas, will cause miniature explosions across the world in people's small residential homes.

America Warms Up to Video Games (a little bit more)

Today, there was a news transcript that had been aired on NPR.

The Writers Guild (I don't know what the hell that is) has added approx. 5 new awards, one of them pertaining to video games. Tomorrow, they will hand out an award to a video game, awarding it with best written storyline. Not only the game will be recognized, but the writers responsible for it, will be awarded. Unfortunately, I didn't hear anything about BioShock, but I did hear some good quotes.

If you want to hear what I heard, click this fat emo that has randomly come up in this blog post.

Mario Party: Or, A game that should be played Under the Influence of Pot/Crack/Acid/anything that will make it good.

This comic best expresses how I feel about the Mario Party games. Sure, the first game was novel....back in 2000 when it was, I don't know, original!? I mean, in each of it's incarnations, there is some gimmick that works or does not. The Original, well, that was it. Two was a sequel, three had costumes, 4 had pretty graphics, 5...I don't know. 6 had real time, 7, perhaps the worst of them all, features a microphone, and 8 has Wii tacked on. My people, we are in a war, between great games like Zelda: Twilight Princess, and BS like Mario Party. And It's all in Nintendo. The company has problems, man.

Football Commentator: "That's Kinda Gay"

Really funny but awkward pause there at the end of that statement!

Frozen Grand Central and Losing the Middle East

Two really cool things (and 1 not so cool thing):

1. Due to a ship running into bad weather, an internet cable has been snapped in the ocean within the last day, and left 70% of the Middle East and India without any connections to illegal American child pornography sites for hours.

2

I would like to congratulate Improv Everywhere for making scenes all over New York City.

The most recent event, just happened to be January 31st, 2 days ago!

This is just fantastic. They get hundreds of people to do random things, and I would like to congratulate everyone that volunteers!

I in fact, wanted to start Improv Everywhere to be in Omaha, NE, and so I came up with this fantastic idea, "I'll build a site while trying to get a bunch of people, and then do what the first did.

The original set the world up for us to do it, and have built the Improv Everywhere Global site.

Here is the group I'm starting for Omaha, because there isn't already an existing one.

Violent Video Games

The parent saturated with paranoia, wants the best for their child, am I not right? Then why make every other child suffer from your worries, by making a god damned petition against video games? This is the most annoying thing ever.

I personally believe that games shouldn't be banned on their content. I do believe that they should be limited though, only to the customers that have parental consent or are legal adults. Let me rephrase that:

It is the parent's responsibility that their child isn't exposed to the violent media that is a part of society today. If you let your child go to the gaming isle of an electronics store, it is your responsibility that they don't play a Grand Theft Auto 4 demo. If the child goes to a friend's house, whom is planning to go to military school in 10 years, it is the parent's responsibility that they don't play Gears of War, or Halo.

So when you spew bullshit out of your mouth (which should be coming out of your ass into the toilet) about video games, it is NOT the developer's fault. You shouldn't can't ban their rights to make games their way. That is why there is a government office board called the

Entertainment
Software
Ratings
B
oard!

The retail stores also do their part in helping you do your responsibilities. For example, GameStop and EBgames retailers prohibit the purchasing of games rated M+17 to minorities*, unless a consenting adult is there with them.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE!

If you really want to help the situation and soothe your paranoia, talk to the damn kid. Studies show that families that eat together at the dinner table simultaneously, are less likely to have potheads or alcoholic children in them.

Now take this newfound knowledge, and talk to them you couch potato.

*It has come to my attention that minorities refer to ethnicity, and not an age group. What I meant to say, was that M+17 games are what GameStop Co. do not sell to minors.

Sorry for any confusion.

Brawl Updates

Three new updates on the Brawl site:

  1. The site got a whole almost new facelift. It sports the new cover art on it, with the updates down below.
  2. Because the updates now pertain to the game as a guide, due to Japan's recent release (OnidragonM.R. mentioned this in an earlier post), the characters section now has a last section, titled, "Hidden Characters." I suspect that the other sections of the site are to follow suit.
  3. The new character, which has to first be unlocked, is Ness. The post also has a button on it giving you 3 options on unlocking Ness. Of course, I'll let you find this out for yourself...

Read or Die

....These books, as they are awesome. Here:

1.) A clockwork orange

This book is made of awesome. You will not find it at a school library however, as it's pretty brutal. But it rocks. I have the movie poster, which is more awesome than this book cover, in my room.

2.) Steven Colbert's I am America(And so can you!)
This book is also made of Excellence. If you disagree, you are wrong.

3.) The Zombie Survival guide
For complete protection from the living dead, you simply can not go wrong with this book. Read it for much lulz, and other crap. There's a sequel to it called "World War Z: A history of the zombie wars", but I hear it's not quite as good.

4.) Out of harm's way by Jack Thompson

I'll be honest: I hate and detest this man. He's taken a stand against gamers everywhere for no reason other than his own crazy ideals. He has a book out, and it's basicly a self parody, with mis-understood facts, spelling errors, and more bias than fox news, who (Suprise!!!) loves him

And there you have it. Four books that are made of awesome, baked in excellence, and fried in supiriority. Except the last one, it just sucks.

It's coming.....

....To japan anyway. On January 31, Brawl will land in Japan, followed by a U.S. Release of March 9. Let's go over some of the bullshit Nintendo's dealt us with Brawl, shall we??

1.) Delay 1

Originally planed as a launch title, Nintendo then delays it to Xmas 2007. FOR NO REASON.
LOL, fanboy reaction

2.) Suprise Bitches!!!!

Snake in Brawl!?!? WTF is that? I've seen BS, and this just about tops it. That and the FUCKING ICE CLIMBERS COMING BACK!!!

3.) Delay 2

We should be used to this by now, but nintendo popped yet ANOTHER delay on us. Motherfuckers delayed it from Dec.3 to Feb.10. Dicks.

4.) Online Sucks as much as other Nintendo titles online

We really should not be suprised by this, but Nintendo Has implemented it's BS friend code system in Brawl, so now you get nothing out of a fight with strangers. No Stats, no chat, nothing. And you can only do Brawl battles with stangers, you can't do team battle on the multi-man brawls. God, I HATE FRIEND CODES!!!!!!

5.) Final Delay

Thank the gods this is the last delay, March 9. Aw well. At least Sonics in.

And now you know.

AND KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!
